about
PART ONE OF AN ISOLATED STORY ABOUT LOVE AND LOSS.
lyrics
High above the dark horizon stands a castle made of stone
Where a man and his lady call their home
Everyday they’d be romancing all along the castle walls
Till the wind would end their dancing and she would fall
Facing such devastation starring at the rocks below
Comes a time of great frustration no one should know
So he locked the gates around him
Closing out the world so cold
Now confined to all that bound him as foretold
Tragedy comes in many ways
And you never know when your last day will come
Heed these words, hear what I must say
You must seize the day
Remember where you are from
Haunting how he’d call to her
Night after night, cursing the castle below
Now there’s so much loneliness
No end in sight, surround by nothing but woe
…and as the story goes, years would pass by
A man who was so depressed always wondering why
“Please bring her back to me”
He longed for her kiss, shouting to the emptiness
Find her, find her
Destined to walk the halls alone
Was this for real? Was he on his own?
He knew in his heart there would come a day
The pain that he felt would go away
A miracle gift, a magical deed
Was what he desired, is what he would need
Not knowing how their souls would unite
He called one last time
Then slipped out of sight

This album is awesome and a full 100% balls to the wall Blaze Bayley worship in a glorious way. You could easily misstake the vocalist for Blaze and the riffing is in the tru spirit of Maiden. The only problem I have is, do they do the Maiden sound better then Maiden does Maiden? Check them out! VinylHazard
